I’m really unsure about whether this can be qualified as healthy living or not….but I guess 99.9% of the population drinks at one point or another so we may as well make it the healthiest we can, right? I found a list of the top “healthiest” alcoholic beverages on Glamour.com….and then supplemented it with some of my faves. Happy {and safe} drinking, friends :)
CHAMPAGNE
{a 4 ounce glass has 85 calories, which is about 15 calories less than a 12 oz bottle of beer or a 4 oz glass of wine}
SOUR APPLE MARTINI
{160 calories as compared to the usual 250 ish martini. 2.5 oz sour mix {or try the 10 calorie diet marg mix at wal mart!!}, 3/4 oz vodka and 3/4 oz sour apple liquor}
CITRUS VODKA & DIET SPRITE
{under 100 calories!! yeaaaa.}
GIN & TONIC
{I won’t even drink this it’s so bitter, but there’s only 103 calories in 1 oz gin and 3 oz tonic!}
MARSHMALLOW VODKA & DIET CREAM SODA
{My go-to drink; great for anyone who likes sweets…and under 100 calories}
PINK DRINK
{Bob Moses’s signature drink…with an Amy twist. Diet cranberry juice–or cran/grape as I use– and berry vodka. Delish}
