We’ve all heard of the statement necklace (if you haven’t, check out this post: http://sbdva.com/wedding-fashion-statement-necklaces/ }, right? Using the same idea as the statement necklace {something spectacular and unexpected that accents & enhances}, I almost always use statement chairs.
I always aim to use them at a wedding, so the couple sits in fancy stand-out chairs either at the head table or sweetheart table:

I’ve said it before and I will say it again and again and again that purchasing furniture sets (matching sofa, loveseat, chair) makes me sick to my stomach. Instead try to mix and match coordinating styles and fabrics in your sofas and bring in a fun fabric and style for the “statement chair” that plays off the colors in the immediate and surroundings spaces.
