WARNING: If you’re a fashionable female, this post is going to make you want to spend money. I’ve tried to keep the outrageously priced pieces away from this post, but you WILL be tempted…
I love a good chunky statement piece….but when a bride has the guts to wear one with her wedding dress {and/or have her bridesmaids wear them}, I almost die of happiness. It brings everyone’s attention right on up where it should be…her glowing happy face. Granted, sometimes a dress is not suited for additional embellishment {gahhh I feel like Stacey London and I love it.}, but if you have a low neckline and a bulging collar bone, please dress it up a little bit. Lord knows how awk a fancy get-up looks without jewelry:
Here’s some more photo persuasion as to why statement necklaces are SO MUCH better than the traditional string of pearls {or a naked neck for that matter}…and then at the bottom are some of my faves that are out right now :) Enjoy!!
OK, maybe I could do pearls…but only if they’re chunky :)
This Kate Spade necklace is to die for…
