INTERIOR DESIGN {Window Headboard}

I’ve shared about this little dilemma before…because it’s what I had to deal with in my own master bedroom!!  The windows are only about 5′ apart, but they’re ALL OVER the room, making it incredibly difficult to find a spot to put a king sized bed.  I am sooo not a fan of using a headboard in front of a window because it blocks natural light and just looks strange from the outside.  With that said, if you have one that is below the window line (or high windows like below) it will still work.  If you can’t make it work, here are options on how to make your room look unique and polished while giving the allusion of having a headboard. You can have a window replacement company in Houston noted and use them to treat your window to frame the bed.

If window treatments just get lost behind the bed, you could simply add cornice boards or designer shades.

You could also install shutters…some people even use actual shutters as headboards (without having a window).

Use wall art to create an interesting design that will visually anchor the bed with the wall.
