I am going to start by saying that I have a gigantic back-log of weddings to blog….like, a whole wedding season…where on earth did time go?!!
To start off this crazy blogging spree (they are going to be in no particular order), is Taylor and Max’s Virginia Beach Wedding at the Yacht Club at Marina Shores from June. When Taylor first e-mailed me, I immediately stalked her (sorry brides, it’s just what we do) and found this engagement picture from her photographer David Champagne…and immediately fell in love. I mean they are gorgeous and look like they would be so much fun to hang out with!!

Max also picked out my most favorite engagement ring to date and proposed in the cutest way possible on the beach.

So needless to say that when Taylor started off by saying she loved gold and glitter, I was in. We worked with Black Iris Floral events and Styled Rentals to come up with bouquets, decor, and centerpieces that meshed well with both her style and budget and this is what we came up with!

The first look was held in the same spot Max proposed!

They got the formal portraits out of the way before the ceremony, leaving us plenty of time to party!
These guys were so much fun!
…and the girls were stunning!!
The ceremony was set on the back deck of the yacht club.
Inside the reception, we had a mixture of gold candlestick and branch centerpieces.
I even convinced them to rent this linen from Classy Covers so the head table was just as sassy as the sparkle table numbers!
The cake was delicious (her wedding was 2 weekends after I found out I was pregnant…that cake was clutch!)

As I said before, these people were down for a party…even ended their first dance with a #selfie !!
The final send-off was glowsticks, leaving in true Jersey style!!
