I (Laura) know Brooke from college as my sorority sister and being one of the most free-spirited and hilarious people I know. So, of course when she contacted me about coordinating her wedding I jumped at the chance. Brooke knew what she wanted for her big day from the first time we spoke, and I must say I was excited.
Brooke and her fiancé, Tory, (who also met in college) decided on a December wedding in Mount Pleasant, SC, which is just over the bridge from downtown Charleston. The ceremony was held on the beach down the road from the reception site. I could not think of a more beautiful venue to have a reception then the The Jacob Bond House. It is a charming hotel which can be transformed into an open space for events and weddings, and was the perfect setting for their small reception.
Brooke looked absolutely stunning in her white statement of a gown and the best part, her earrings were from Target (loved them)!! Tory looked just as dashing in his grey suit along with their flower girl and precious daughter, Addison, in her beautiful blue dress. They are one good looking family!
One of the first things Brooke said to me in discussing her wedding was she wanted an intimate and romantic feel. So, add lots of candles and their closest friends and family, and it was the perfect evening! Take a look at these gorgeous images captured by Valerie Schooling Photography…
