It’s been a crazy few months, but i’m finally trying to catch up with the 9 million wedding and design blogs that need to be posted!! Up first is this fun Manteo Wedding!
Brad, one of my husband’s fraternity brothers and close friends from VCU and Sarah, his incredibly smart and fun fiancé (now wife), were married at the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo over Memorial Day weekend. The gardens are seriously one of the most gorgeous ceremony locations i’ve seen yet…including Norfolk Botanical and my previous favorite, the Hermitage! Let’s start this wedding day story with the “getting ready” pictures taken by the fabulous husband and wife team, Daniel and Kate from Daniel Pullen Photography!
Their first look was so cute, on different balconies at their hotel, The Oasis Suites.
Here are a few shots from the ceremony which took place on a gorgeous lawn at the Elizabethan Gardens overlooking the sound.
The wedding was low-key and stress free (my favorite type!!). The bridal party took some time with the Pullens to get these awesome portraits before the party got started.
Afterwards, we moved to the reception venue, The Avenue…a restaurant on the water in downtown Manteo. Here are some shots of the decor.
We started with cocktail hour and some amazing food and finally it was time for the bridal party to be announced. Sarah and Brad had THE most amazing first dance i’ve seen to date. If only I could find that video….
After the cake cutting, the rest of the night progressed to be one of the most entertaining weddings i’ve been to.
I am so happy for these two and can’t wait to see where life takes them next!!
