I’m always amazed by what creative people can do with inexpensive common items. I’m also a huge advocate for re-purposing items {helllooo thrift stores….} and RECYCLING. So what the hell am I getting at?
Wedding decor {or even random home decor} doesn’t have to be expensive, you just have to have a creative mind….or be a Pinterest addict. Some of the chic-est ideas i’ve seen recently involve collections of items. You all know that I have a collection of frames, milk glass, and filigree mirror trays…but I also hoard wine bottles. If you or your friends/relatives like to drink this is the easiest thing to collect!! My photoshoot at the Williamsburg Winery added a nice 50+ beautifully shaped bottles and i’ve just been sitting here twirling my hair waiting around for an event to use them in one of these super creative ways…
They can be spray painted & used as candlesticks or vases:

Or even as a guest book {yes, I wrote every single one of those messages just for this picture….even some with my left hand}. Imagine drinking one bottle at your first 5 anniversaries?! Memories to last a few years, bottles to last a lifetime.
