VIRGINIA BEACH WEDDING {Joann and Miguel}

Let’s start this off by saying Style by Design pretty much forced our way into this wedding…

Joann is a friend of Taylor’s from work.  She started telling Taylor about all of her wedding plans and of course Taylor passed on that information to me.  Her colors were very similar to those from my wedding, the wedding was going to be very small (30-40 people), needed help finding a venue for her wedding in one month, and she wasn’t too interested in the design aspect of the event.  Doesn’t that sound like the perfect scenario for a wedding designer/planner?!

I offered to donate our time and supplies as Joann’s wedding gift.  We worked out a deal with Deb from The Water Table because she had one Saturday that wasn’t yet booked in February.  We rented silver chivari chairs and glass chargers.  We used my silver table overlays, purple and silver ornaments, Taylor’s light up sticks, black sheer placemats for the centerpieces, snowflake escort cards, and plum napkins.  After Taylor and I set up everything {Taylor’s company Cake Pops made the favors}, she stayed the entire night as the day-of coordinator.

Here are some pictures of the set-up.  Nothing you haven’t seen before, but still pretty nonetheless :)
{please don’t judge my lack of photography skills……}
